Over 4 weeks, the 9th graders at Project Impact STEM Academy will be learning:
- How e-cigarette use can have an impact on their mental and physical health.
 
- How many high school students don’t use e-cigarettes.
 
- About the highly addictive nature of nicotine.
 
- How to explain the signs of nicotine addiction and how it hijacks the brain.
 
- About stress management strategies and ways of finding real joy.
 
- How to get help for an addiction or give help to someone who is addicted.
 
- Develop messaging in a listicle project to promote the choice to not use e-cigarettes.
 
- Make a personal decision regarding e-cigarette use.
