KNOW VAPE – Professional Development Course

“Do you KNOW VAPE? Vaping is quickly becoming an epidemic, and 1 in 5 Idaho students have tried vaping. Join Idaho Public Television for a three-part virtual professional development series for educators on the dangers of vaping. Throughout the course of this series, participants will learn about the damage caused from vaping and the connection between vaping and mental health. Attendees will learn how they can help students avoid vaping, and will walk away with a wealth of resources they can use in their classroom.

Webinars will be held from 5:30-7:30PM MST on January 24, February 28, and March 27. 

Idaho Public Television is pleased to offer this course for university credit, through ISU, BSU, and U of I. It is the participant’s responsibility to complete the registration and payment through the university. Information for how to register through the university will be given during the first webinar. 

For educators wanting to receive credit, Central District Health is offering scholarships to 8 total educators within Ada, Boise, Elmore, and Valley counties to cover the cost of obtaining the credit.
